Ownership and Funding
Readers of a site about politics are entitled to know who is behind it and who pays for it. This page discloses both, and will be updated whenever either changes.
Ownership
MLAs.News is owned and published by Chris Taylor, an independent individual publisher. It is a non-commercial, unfunded publication with no institutional or advertiser backing.
Funding
MLAs.News is currently self-funded by its publisher. It carries no advertising and no sponsored content, and receives no funding from any political party, government body, or campaign group. If that changes — for example if the site introduces advertising, subscriptions or grant funding — this page will disclose it.
Independence
MLAs.News is not affiliated with, funded by, or endorsed by the Northern Ireland Assembly, the Northern Ireland Executive, or any political party. Data is drawn from the Assembly’s publicly available open-data services (see methodology); MLA portrait images are published by the Assembly. Use of official data does not imply endorsement.
The publisher is not a member of, and has no financial relationship with, any political party or elected representative. He does not disclose which parties he has voted for: his voting choices have changed over time, so no single party reflects a fixed allegiance.
